The annual Kennisis Lake Rock Bass Fishing Derby will be taking place on Saturday July 7th. This is during the designated license free period for 2018 in Ontario so everyone can participate even without a fishing license. Anyone interested in taking part can register by email at neelys@sympatico.ca or by text at 905-626-2463. You can register alone or in pairs, in one of the two following categories: 12 and under, or 13 and over. Final weigh-in is at the bridge between Big and Little Kennisis Lake at 5:00 pm on Saturday evening. Enjoy a day of fishing and help reduce the population of this invasive species.
