1. Purpose:
To ensure responsible stewardship of KLCOA-owned assets and maintain their availability, safety, and integrity for KLCOA sponsored community use.
2. Definition:
KLCOA assets include any physical property, equipment, or materials owned, maintained, or managed by the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners’ Association (KLCOA), such as tents, coolers, signage, event supplies, tools, or infrastructure.
3. Policy:
KLCOA assets are not available for loan, rental, or personal use by individuals, groups, or organizations unless the use is part of a KLCOA sponsored event. A sponsored event is one that has been formally approved by the KLCOA Board, Executive or designated committee and aligns with the association’s purpose, values, and community objectives.
Exceptions
Any exceptions to this policy must be reviewed and approved in writing by the KLCOA Board or Executive. Requests must be submitted in advance and include a clear description of the intended use, duration, and responsible party.
