Keeping Your Septic System Performing Well and Our Lakes Healthy

Understanding how Septic Systems work and how to maintain them can help you keep your system working properly. The two videos below cover Septic System operation, maintenance, and inspection.

Poop Talk – The Number 2

Septic Systems are the single largest polluter of our lakes. All systems pollute, but the more efficiently your septic system operates, the less pollution goes into the environment.

The CHA has done a fantastic job of updating the original Poop Talk video with Rob Davis.  Rob of EcoEthic, becomes very animated and provides a no-nonsense overview of how Septic Systems work and some sage advice on how to keep your system operating effectively.

Watch Poop Talk – The # 2, from the Lake Protector Video Series from the CHA. This video was proudly “Haliburton Made” with the support of the Haliburton County Development Corporation (HCDC) and our Lake Associations.
