The Bullfrog Bay Lands (45.213567, -78.624870) are accessible from the south shore of Kennisis Lake surrounding Bullfrog Bay or from Wilkinson Road. The entrance to Bullfrog Bay is approximately half-way between the first bridge and the Kennisis dam. The lands consist of a narrow strip of shorelands around the bay which is approximately 11 acres. The KLCOA owns and manages the Bullfrog Bay Lands, and the lands are open to the public for their use.

History
The Bullfrog Bay Lands were transferred to the KLCOA during the subdivision of Wilkinson Road properties. When Wilkinson was being developed, the lands surrounding Bullfrog Bay retained by Dysart et al and zoned as “Open Space” with the intention that they were not to be developed due to the service that the lands provide from an environmental and recreational perspective. In 1988, Dysart et al council passed a bylaw (#9312) confirming the ownership and waiving all further property taxes.
Management
The KLCOA Lands Committee manages the islands on behalf of the Kennisis Lake Cottage Owners’ Association (KLCOA).
The committee consists of representatives from the KLCOA membership.
Land Use Principles
All KLCOA lands are open to the public for their responsible enjoyment. For each of the KLCOA owned properties, land use principles have been developed for the responsible use of these lands. The Land Use Principles were developed through community public consultation and approved by the KLCOA Board of Directors. Where appropriate, signage has been installed to communicate these land use guidelines.
