Dysart and Haliburton County Councils, along with the other lower tiers across the County have made a decision to open hazardous waste days to any resident of the County. Here in Dysart this means that residents will now have access to any of the 14 events scheduled across the County rather than only the three dates we normally offer in Dysart.
This particular initiative also has the advantage of helping keep “all kinds of bad stuff” out of our lakes and reducing the harm to our natural environment by making proper disposal more convenient.
