This year there will also be a focus on Invasive Species Awareness in our Lakes and the hazards of using Lead Fishing Tackle on wildlife. Lead fishing tackle is a major contributor to Loon Mortality (www.fishleadfree.ca). Lead tackle will be collected at the “weigh-in” station and information on lead-free fishing tackle will be provided to participants. This initiative is sponsored by U-Links and the KLCOA.
