On Monday, May 2nd from 6:30 – 7:30 pm, the KLCOA/RLCA will host a Zoom call with Jeff Voyer, our contact at Superior Propane to share information on what’s involved in switching propane suppliers. Propane suppliers will only fill their own tanks which means getting your tank swapped out if you want to switch and safety inspections done. Propane companies often have five year contracts with penalty clauses for switching mid-term. So it’s not so easy to swap. Our Group Buy has consistently had the best fixed price available in our market in recent years (particularly for customers using over 1500 liters/year, which generally means heating with propane) and favorable terms for tank rental, remote sensing of tank levels, etc. Our new group price is set in July (so we don’t know what it will be for next year yet) but if you’re interested in possibly joining the buying group, you’ll need to act soon to schedule the tank exchange & inspections to be able to participate in the group price for next year.
