I serve as Dysart Council’s representative on the County of Haliburton Community Climate Action Plan Advisory Group. The role of the group is to provide advice that Korey McKay, the County’s Climate Change Coordinator, can use to shape the recommendations she makes to County Council and the Council’s for each of the four lower tiers.
Input on the topic of climate change though should come from members of the public and in that regard the first of multiple public engagement surveys is now underway. I encourage you to participate personally and to share this invitation with the membership of your associations. The survey will be open until May 30th and one lucky participant will win a FoodCycler.
