Spring brings us flowers, budding trees and melting lake water but unfortunately it also exposes the roadside garbage.
The KLCOA, together with Dysart and Haliburton County is once again running a roadside garbage clean-up weekend. With enough volunteers, we hope to be able to cover each cottage road and the County road from Westshore to Wilkinson. COVID PROTOCOLS WILL BE IN EFFECT
Due to the Stay-at-Home order, regretfully, we have to postpone the community roadside clean-up effort originally scheduled for May 1 and 2. Please do your part and check your roadside frontage for garbage. If you walk for exercise – consider carrying a garbage bag with you to collect the ever-errant drink can or coffee cup. Thank you. We will set new dates once we know when restrictions will be lifted.
