HHHS is raising $4.3 million for CT scan equipment to be installed this summer and state of the art mammography equipment to be installed in the fall, plus additional diagnostic imaging equipment such as digital ultrasound, bone density testing and a digital imaging system to transmit diagnostic images to specialists and hospitals across Ontario for speedier diagnosis and treatment. The Campaign Team has a stretch goal of an additional $2.5 million for a new x-ray suite and equipment. These technologies will improve health care outcomes for full-time and part-time residents.
