The KLCOA is supporting Healthy Shorelines in 2024 through promoting local native plant providers.
Each spring, Friends of Ecological and Environmental Learning (FEEL) offers high quality native and eco-friendly plants for sale to Haliburton County landowners and community organizations. FEEL offers a selection of native trees, shrubs, perennial flowers, and themed bundle offerings tailored to shorelines, pollinators, and more.
Their native plan sale is a fundraiser directly support FEEL’s operation of the annual Haliburton-Muskoka-Kawartha Children’s Water Festival which the KLCOA is holding on July 14th at the Marina – watch future e-blasts for registration.
