On the weekend of July 7 and 8 the 4th Annual Art on the Dock took place. A total of 16 locations with 37 artists were set up for visitors to come by boat and by car. The weather was stellar and the exhibits were amazing. What an outstanding group of talent we have on our Lakes. Many hundreds of people toured the lakes and visited the artists. It was great two days in every respect.
On July 20th the KLOCA (Janis Parker and Deb Wratschko) presented a cheque for $5,000 to the Haliburton Arts Council – Artists in the Schools program. This represents our largest contribution to date and is a direct result of the generosity of both the artists and the many visitors.
