As we shared at our virtual Spring Annual Meeting on March 18,2024, we are now on our new meeting schedule to be compliant with the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA).
The Annual meeting was “financials focused” including the financial results for the previous year as well as the budget for the current year. The election of directors will continue to take place every two years with the next election in March 2025.
Our regular Spring meeting will now be called a “Special Meeting” and will be held annually in May. The Special Meeting will focus on updates for upcoming programs, events and initiatives for the summer including educational topics and guest speaker(s) where appropriate.
